So on May 28, I was driving to work and when I got there I noticed a burning smell and a tiny bit of smoke coming from the drivers side door (toward the engine bay). I had someone fill me in and drove to the dealer (~10 min away) and when I got there the car started smoking hella (they thought it was on fire).
Service advisor said valve cover gasket, and it took them a week to get it fixed.
It's been 3 weeks, almost 4 no issues until today going to work again..At one point I thought I smelled that burning smell again. Didn't see any smoke and didn't smell anything when I opened the hood in front of work.
I'm stuck here for 9 hours so no chance going to dealer today or tomorrow (closed).
Do you guys think it's possible for the valve cover to go bad again this soon? This is my DD...it was reliable until these issues lol, I haven't been here in awhile. Any issues I should be worried about?
