Hi Guys. I recently replaced spark plugs on my 2013 V6, and cleaned/oiled the K&N air filter, Trans fluid drain/refill, and Diff drain & refill. Now the car drives very different. The acceleration became sluggish, and occasionally revs a lot but does not accelerate, and sometimes goes into the limp-mode where the SRS Airbag light, The service light (yellow wrench), and the low-fuel light comes ON. When I stop, turn off the car, and restart, the car starts driving fine again! The check-engine light or the Service Advancetrak does not come on, and no codes are generated.

I have carefully cleaned the MAF, did Throttle Body relearn, and verified there is no vacuum leak. I have verified the spark-plugs are gapped correctly.

Any idea what it could be? My skill level in hands-on repairs are intermediate. If referring any electricals & electronics, please dumb down your your suggestion for me. Thanks!

First of all, you’re in the wrong forum talking about a 2013 my man. But being that a symptom is it revs up but doesn’t accelerate, it doesn’t seem like an issue on the engine side of things as much as transmission. Kinda sounds like potentially something happened with that fluid change that shouldn’t have, but not too sure.

Sounds to me like you improperly filled the transmission with fluid. With the engine accelerating but you aren't going anywhere is a tell tale sign that you're low on transmission fluid. Torque converters are very sensitive to low fluid. Check the fluid level, generally you have to check this when the transmission is up to operating temperature.

If you over oiled your KN filter could cause some issues. I'd clean the MAF again as well while your checking your trans fluid.
