Hello, does anyone know if the new v6 driveshafts have been updated so they do not possibly explode anymore at 130mph? I know they are still 2 piece. But have they been updated?

The GT and the V6 share the same drive shaft now.

I wouldn't recommend doing 160 in the first place. After 140 the hood starts to warp pretty serious

From what I've read, stock tires will go before your driveshaft.

Yes that is correct, im not worried about the tires going. I had a 2012 before this mustang and was afraid to go above 130 because of the driveshaft. One time i did 160 in it and it was fine. But from what i read, about 15% of the previous gen mustang were susceptible to the driveshafts blowing up. If the V6 now has the same driveshaft as the GT then i am no longer worried.

If thats true, then yes. The 5th gen had 2 separate driveshafts for the gt and the v6.
