Hello everyone,
I had some warranty repairs done and noticed that the elbow that I outlined in the picture has been JB welded back together rather then replaced. I touched it a little and of course it cracked. I do not want to bother going back to Ford and would rather just switch it myself...
So far so good. Not a single issue, very happy with the purchase. Even though it was quite a pain to install. I did it on 4 jack stands in a garage. With a lift it would have been far easier. But If I were to do it over again, i would buy ones that fit correctly even they are a bit pricier.
Normally it would it. However I have long tube headers and high flow cats so they will most likely blame it on that and charge me an inspection fee and such.
I already have long tube headers and high flow cats. I feel like and x or h pipe will make it super loud and possibly raspy. My buddy has a spare x pipe so I will probably try it out just to see but most likely will want the stock resonator back.
Hello everyone,
It seems my stock resonator failed on me. From what i can tell there is a broken weld on the inside of it. Rattles like crazy between 1500-2500 RPM.
I do not want to do a resonator delete as i am afraid the car will be too loud. If you have the stock suitcase or some other...
It is possible that you did but I am the one who ended up making the choice.
That is correct, i went there after he moved to Florida. I did not know that because when i asked the shop they told me Rob is just there for a little bit to help out and he will be back that is why he had to do a...
I'm glad to hear your experience was good. But it was absolutely not normal nor was it professional. I have been to many dyno shops with different vehicles and this is the first time I experienced something like this. They did not give me any credit in the end as they completely stopped...
In my case it is the same thing no matter the setting. I just remembered that when i was installing my headers i had to unscrew the plate holding the steering column that is behind the pedals and i also had to undo the u joint connecting it to the steering rack. Those bolts might have come loose...
I originally thought it was an issue with my headers but then after taking it to Ford for a misfire issue the dealer also notices the passenger side actuator harness was bad and they replaced it. No issues since then and i has been about 10,000 miles.
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has had this issue.
While driving anywhere between 45-65 mph my steering slightly moves left and right while driving straight. It is incredibly little, maybe a mm to the right and mm to the left but its constant and physically visible. The wheels do not...
Butt dyno read higher numbers for sure. I'd say another 30-40 whp or so. I forgot the exact issue but they replaced some rubber lines that were clogged apperantly. They also replaced one of the actuators for the active exhaust.
Hello everyone,
I went to Krazy House Customs in Monmouth Junction, NJ about 1.5 months ago to get a dyno tune for my 5.0.
I arrived there with the vehicle, they told me they will do it sometime during the day and i can pick it up at the end of the day. I was fine with that. I left and then...

Mine ended up fixing itself but I was at the dealer getting other warranty work done and they did notice that the right tailpipe actuator had bad wiring so they replaced the harness.
I appreciate you sending me that PDF. As it turns out P0302 came back anyway even after i switched the coils.
This can be caused by many different things so i will instead be bringing my car to the dealer as i do have warranty.
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this issue with the 2018 5.0.
I live in NYC and we recently had a snowstorm. During that snowstorm i had to get up a snowy hill which resulted in me having to have the rpms between 5k and 7k for a period of about 3 minutes. The speed...
