Using Maps/Sync3?

I havent had the chance to use android auto or sync maps yet
however, the other day I decided to see how many minutes it was to my second closet coles, so I headed towards it

I used voice recognition and said coles,

I tried 10 times overall,
and all I got was Coles in the city (18km away)
or another coles about 7km away

I tried using coles,
I tried using Coles (SUBURB NAME)

in the end I arrived at my destination before it worked

Am I using the inhouse gps wrong?

I use android auto a lot with google maps. I've had issues trying to find the local store if my location settings on my phone are turned are off. The phone needs to be connected to the car via cable.

I have had good success with pushing the prompt button on the wheel (the button on the upper right), waiting for google to "wake up" (you'll hear tone) then saying "navavigate to coles in (place name)."

Can confirm....Scottish accent often confuses Google! I sometimes have to put a bit of an aussie accent on, and she recognises me instantly!
