Anyone with a 2020+ that could just sit in the driver seat, feel around the back and check if you can feel the fan pressing against the back of the seat?
(I've ruled out the hard backing question)
Thanks
Thanks for the replies. I suspect the later ones are a bit different. My drivers side doesn't have a pocket.
Do both seats have a hard backing under the cover in the area I highlighted?
(Posting here, as I want to be sure I check other Aussie models specifically)
Recently I was driving in my MY21.5 GT, I felt something in the rear of my seat break/give way. I was cruising at 70kmh, not accelerating or anything, so it was a bit weird.
I felt around the back of my seat, and...
I bought this one: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/4000405828084.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.5.33ee1802gdS1kW&gatewayAdapt=glo2vnm
Worked great for a week, then stopped working. Turned out it got soaked with rain water. The interior of the door cavity gets wet, and soaked the...
Only a very minor thing, but changing the interior lights makes a huge difference. Stock ones are pitiful and barely light the interior up.
I replaced mine with T10 SMD LEDs from eBay, only cost a few $$. Makes a HUGE difference.
Here's old vs new...difference is so much more noticable in person:
So I went and got my car back today. She said if I really want to take it, I had to sign a waiver.
Waiver was handwritten at the bottom of the car's worksheet. 🤦♂️
This surely isn't a legit Ford procedure??
Ok, so I took the car to Ford today, and was told they are grounding all 20-23 Mustangs. The fix also includes a part swap. And there are no parts in the country, great.
So they've given me a hire car, as they don't know when parts will be available.
If I want to get my car back in the...
So you're saying it's not been released yet? Maybe it differs by region. I know when I log into my Ford account, it does (did) show my car as needing the recall done. But after the service and supposed BCM update, it no longers show up.
Also, yea, she definitely said it needs to come back for a...
A week ago, I took my 21 GT to a local Ford dealer (Aus) to get the BCM updated for recall 23C35, along with the 30k scheduled service.
A day or so later, I got a call from them, saying I had to bring my car back in. The wording they left in the voicemail is that they have to "ground" my car...
Looks quite nice with the chrome removed. I reckon satin black would look schmick. But fake carbon fibre looks awful. It looks like a 18 year olds car, with stick on carbon fibre bought from eBay.
It's been out for a while now, since January I think. Just grab it from the Ford website and follow the instructions. it's an easy process that you can't really mess up.
Lots of god discussion in the thread: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/official-ford-sync3-3-4-release.145436/
2015 Ford Falcon (FGX G6ET). I moved to Australia in 2001, and have owned 5 Falcons. But they stopped making them, thanks to everyone buying stupid SUVs and dual cab utes. So the next logical step was the Mustang 👌
The turbo Barra engine is such a great motor.
Is the OBDLink MX the best one to use? Are there others that are confirmed working? The MX is quite pricey here in Australia (≈ $200), so I'm wondering if there's anything a bit cheaper.
Yep, it's absolutely crazy they didn't add this. There's already a button there for it, so why ot just trigger it when locking and unlocking. There's a few things they did, or didn't do, that make little sense.
You do, but it's very easy. The video I linked in my other thread has a good guide...
I recently fitted a mod to auto fold the wing mirrors and wind up windows when locking the car.

Works great, easy to fit, and was less than $100.
Thanks for the heads up! But yea, I agree CYBERDIM's solution is neater with ore scope for personal choice of colour etc. And I like the location of the strap in the middle.
