Anyone working on long-tube headers yet?

Also, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the vibration dampers attached to the stock exhaust. Will you be doing something similar?
As stated, Kooks already has some in development and had them on display at SEMA. We also list them on our site but they won't be released until the connection pipes are completed.

We'll probably do a little testing with the vibration dampers to see if there is any difference, but in the end, I for see us just removing them.

I like to disassemble things.
The dampers would no longer be tuned for the proper frequency once you change to long tubes and custom H or X pipe. You'll know if you attain resonance with the new combination...

Whatever I need
Worth noting that that was the last year for a platform that had been around for 9 years. They're just barely a year over mass-producing the S550. They'll work this stuff out eventually, but these are the woes of a new model buyer. I'm not excusing it, just saying this is the norm. More pragmatic people tend to buy later into the run.
No offense, but I didn't even consider the last generation Mustang due to its cheap looking interior and gnarly window moulding. Sure the new gen is not perfect, and I would be certainly more scrutinizing of it if I paid north of 50 instead of $28k. However I have not had one single issue with my car since I bought it in February; is tight as a drum and the style and overall execution is in a whole other league over the boxy and clumsy looking gen 5.
