Has anyone found a good brake pad for non PP? Still hunting as my car sees plenty of canyon cruising and track use.

....convert to pp brakes...?

Carbotech makes some great lads, iirc. EBC yellowstuff have tons of grip and bite even when cold but you gotta heat them up on occasion or they'll leave deposits on the rotor and you'll feel like they're warped.

I don't feel the need to upgrade the calipers, so I intend to do stainless steel lines, rotors, fluid, and pads. Just can't find pads worth buying just yet.

I skipped the lines, pads, and replacement rotors and went straight to the M-2300-V kit. I felt it was better to work a more capable system within it's boundaries than to push the stock brakes to the limit.

After my first track session the stock non PP brakes did OK, definitely could use better pads however I don't think they would last with more friction and heat being introduced.

I also think the brake pad choices are better for the EB PP/GT brakes if you don't want the Brembo's. Just my .02.
