The 2015 Mustangs, including the forgotten "Convertibles" will arrive when they arrive. Not sooner nor later. In the mean time, if your of legal age, down a Pint or two of your favorite Beer or Ale and take your Dog for a walk. Who knows, by the time they finally arrive there may be some new Ford Credit Financing Incentives or Promotions to sooth the frustration of the wait.

I'm a new guy. Ordered a Race Red V6 convertible, looks like Santa may
deliver it.

Order the identical combination on Sept 2. Just added the upgraded equipment package 051A and the Spare Tire 66W with of course the Spoiler Delete 13D. If your ordered the A/T it will be scheduled soon. If you chose the M/T, there will be a temporary (hold).

72 Month Car Loan? YIKES! Sounds more like a Mortgage! You better get GAP Insurance cause you will likely be (upside down) for the first 4 years. Why not go for a 84 month or 96 month payment?:shocked:

It's just for lower payments.... in the past I have paid off the loans early... s so an early payoff... save money, no penalty
Plus. Payment based on 38k is about 575mo, 60 mo is at 675, even though low apr, still not by much, payoff early you still save a bit of cash

My truck and Audi payments were 500 & 550 respectively, truck was paid off a year early Audi a few months

72 month loans are quite common nowadays. Did it with my Fusion. My parents got the golden 72 month 0% when they bought their 2006 GT new...I think that was around the time 72 month loans were starting to get popular. At 0%...why not!? :-) GAP insurance is a good idea though...did it on my Fusion.

Protects you if the car gets totaled or something and the insurance company only gives you what the car is worth at the time, it makes up for that "gap" in coverage. Say I have a $38,000 new car and 1 year later I still owe $33,000, it gets totalled, but the book value that the insurance gives me is only $28,000. GAP will pay the difference for you.

It is usually a one-time up front payment that dealers will offer through their connections. I think mine was $400 or something like that. If you pay the car off early you can get some of it back (did that when I traded a car in that I had bought GAP insurance for).

I'm doing 72 as well. It's not that much diffrent than a 60 to me. Plus I plan on paying it off early. every year during income tax time I put about 50% towards my car payment.
The best I could find right now tho is 3.95 for 72 :( :( I need to look around some more

I have done that with my last 3 cars. 0% for 72 on my 06GT and 1.9% for 72 on my 2010 GT and 2013 Lariat. Not once was I upside down. I will be trading my Lariat in for the stang but I put 7 grand as a down payment on her and will be putting 4 grand down on the mustang. There is a credit union her called Randolph Brooks that offers 1.69 for 60 and 2.9 for 72.I'll see what I get on my trade to see which route I would like to go. The payment on my 2010 was 467 but I paid 600 per month. Which helped me get into my Lariat which was 585.00 and I do only pay 585.00 not a penny more lol

I don't think I have to worry about gap insurance in any direction I go... if for some reason it was a natural disaster or what... I have confidence and besides... if I decided ti get better with a trade in... that gap insurance is not going to do you a luck of good anyways but to throw your money away... buying a vehicle was never considered a sound investment inn the first place... you already expect it to lose value once it leaves the lot

If you are a service member... try navy federal or even aafes federal if any are around.... they usually have the best rates.... mine is 2.45 for a 72 & 1.99 for 60
