Just thought I'd share, if I'm able to order this week like i'd like to, then my expected delivery date will be Dec 15th. Just thought you all would want to know you can expect them long before then if you've already ordered and well later if you haven't. So it looks like about 5 months time from ordering to delivery.

From talking with the person I'm ordering through and my military sales quote. Although it does say "Requested delivery date" on the form. But there really wasn't any doubt in the information he was giving me. There were no inclinations as to it being any different, aside from if I order later, I can expect a later delivery date. But basically what I gather is anything before 5 months will be a welcomed surprise. I would guess you all who ordered in may can expect a faster turn around than 5 months though.

and yea no worries, I won't be back to the states until october anyhow. Although I really need to sort out this 68b ebony interior thing though. Aside from setting up a pre-approved loan, it's the only thing that stopped me from ordering today...errr yesterday lol

I ordered mine on the 23rd and they said 60-120 days to be safe, but were expecting 70-80 days.

I'd be pretty bummed to get it in the absolute middle of winter...hope its mild! And that does give me more time to build up a better down payment.

I drive my vehicles all year round, so that doesn't really matter to me. Would be nice if it was warmer to play around with it's grip limit's doing an autocross, then maybe a track day. But we'll see, it'll still be a blast. The bike is obviously faster, but this will be the fastest car i've owned or driven. Totally stoked and looking forward to it. Was and am still hoping to have it by November but time will tell all.

This is close to what I am expecting. My car was ordered July 14, as part of the dealer's stocking order, and he seems to think he'll have the car near the end of September, which would be about 75 days. (Now only 65 days to go, whoo hoo!)

Balls, I ordered 7/24. I don't have an order/build confirmation sheet or a VIN yet. So I might be waiting till Nov or Dec.

Updated Delivery Timeline

Ok ! So for me...this 68b thing is just getting ridiculous. I wish FORD was reading these forums. They must not be or they just don't care.

Why else wouldn't they update the web page to be more useful and or user frindly and less ambiguous?

The 68B option is only $395. So I might as well just skip it and keep the money.
FORD obviously doesn't need or wantit bad enough.

Now for the cherry on top...this guy is being told 5 months for until delivery.
That is FREAKIN RIDICULOUS my friends. That may also be a deal breaker for me. After all the hype and waiting...I feel like I've already owned the car and grown tired of it.

If I wait to see for myself the actually different options and configurations for this car without have to guess or use conjecture from forum users, which will be, according to the forums, not FORD mind you, sometime in September...15th ?

Then order the Mustang I want, only to be told I'll be able to take delivery sometime in Fedruary. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I would exspect 6 to 8, maybe upto 10 weeks, but 5 months. Forget it!

1st I would like to point out that the 2015 Mustangs for sale are not yet in production(two more weeks). When the car hits OKTB on Sep 9th if that date remains, then start complaining about Ford or not. The Mustang you want may be available off of the show room floor in September. Any dealer who gives out a date that far probably either gets little to no allocation or just doesn't want the OP whining October 1st. Retail orders can happen very quick as in 4 to 6 weeks or could take 8 months. No one, can really nail down the date right now unless you are already scheduled. Read all of the threads about the manufacturing and ordering processes before getting all up tight, or go buy a Camaro.

I'm glad there is a voice of reason here.
