Hope that is the fix Bruce. I can imagine it has been annoying. So did it start out of no where randomly?
It just started for no apparent reason. Actually, it is pretty minor. Since it is ONLY at approximately 50 mph, I seldom even feel it unless I purposely drive that speed.

I was a little bit concerned that the tech might blame heat from my H-pipe for causing the driveshaft bearing to fail. However, the service writer just told me that the tech said it was the sweetest sounding Mustang he had ever heard. Lol

Steeda H-pipe. I also have the BMR cradle lock out kit....CB005. When Ford engineering asked the tech to check the cradle alignment, I was also a little concerned. It turned out to be perfect and the service writer commented that those "braces" probably helped keep it centered better than the factory arrangement.

Yeah that Steeda piece looks real nice. Nice product for the $.

Did you pick up any NVH with the cradle lock outs? That has been my biggest concern with doing that mod. Although with the pp1 setup I rarely get any axle hop. Maybe the stiffer springs are helping that?

I put the cradle lock out kit on shortly after getting the car. I would say the rear end seemed a tiny bit firmer but no NVH. Unfortunately, the kit didn't eliminate my wheel hop when I had the Pirelli all season tires on the car.

FOLLOW UP: My dealer replaced the driveshaft under warranty and now the car is 100% smooth at all speeds. Problem solved.

Interesting. So this was some weird vibration that came back through the steering wheel? Like a buzz? I know we’ve been through this, but I have no idea how drive line harmonics can cause what you were describing. Anyway, good deal that you got it fixed! And another demonstration have to drive trains on these cars can cause all kinds of weird harmonic issues.
