Hello; for what it may be worth after I made my post this morning it occurred to me, I may have gotten the battery deg wrong. During a rethink i came to the same idea you post. A shrinking gas tank analogy. No, the analogy would be if an ICE gas tank size shrunk 8% by 100k miles. The EV power remains the same, just like an ICE engine makes the same power regardless of tank size. SMH
Hello; I have and have had a number of battery hand tools. What you point out is the way the tools run. Good power for a while then a sudden drop. Also, a part of my rethink.Amperage flow rate does not decrease until the battery is quite low. All battery powered tools and vehicles have to function this way,
A question remains. Is mileage what degrades an EV battery or just time???
