Underhood insulation blanket

Wondering if anybody knows who sells aftermarket underhood blankets like the one in the pic or reasonable facsimiles?
Or any blanket type piece.

Ad far as I know, no one ever sold an aftermarket hood blanket for the SN95's, S197's or even S550's.

That was only available from Ford if needing a replacement. Over the years, I've seen some folks make their own using a variety of materials.

Check eBay if you're needing a stock replacement, sometimes there are used one in great shape or even NOS. I've seen some SN95 hood blankets in the $300 range, but those were NOS and shipping is in the $50 range due to its size.

I have my stock blanket but the Gen 3 Whipple doesn't leave any room between the liner and the blower. I just wanted something a bit thinner for clearance.
I don't like the idea of having no liner either.
Plus I'm getting mould problems.

I can’t figure out how to get or copy a link from my Amazon app, otherwise I’d supply the direct link here… But that seems to be a good product you can use under the hood which will deflect heat and prevent moisture/mold.


There are similar products on Amazon like that, just put in “hood insulator” as your search criteria.
