No response about me going to Liverpool to collect the car myself either.

Out of interest, my mate who used to work for Volvo as a mechanic was allocated 1 hour, per car for a PDI check. Regardless of vehicle type

I'm still in no news limbo. Seems that there are 6 of us left now in Liverpool.

I've just got an email from Stacey telling me that mine is leaving Liverpool today and should be with the dealer in 5-7 days.

I wonder where it goes from Liverpool? Some kind of distribution centre, then on for delivery? Does anyone know if this actually takes 5-7 days or is it quicker than this?

Hopefully get a collection date very very soon...

My PDI was done late last week, stage 2 of extras being done today and I'm picking up 10.30am Wednesday.

Fingers crossed for those still waiting on info.

My finance was approved this morning, and I am supposed to collect on Thursday afternoon. Here come the longest 3 days of my life

Yup. Still radio silence here. Every time I ask it goes back so I'm trying not asking to see if that brings it forwards.

That's the level of logic I'm down to.

Also, I have no idea why a truck leaving Liverpool should take 5 - 7 days to get to its destination. Took me 3 hours. even if a truck had multiple drops they can only carry 10 cars max so unless the scheduling is spectacularly inept and its dropping one off in London, the next in Glasgow then the next in London again I can't see it taking 5 days

Just spoke with my Ford dealer and its arriving with them this afternoon.

I'll drive to them and check it over this week, using Manders checklist, with a view to collecting it next Monday 27th (got it booked into a Detailor first thing Tuesday morning for CS Black – Crystal Serum topped with EXO).

So, effectively its arrived, but wont 'truly' be mine until Monday 4th when I have it for keeps!

2 extra weeks wait isn't a problem when its in my control
