Haha! probably didn't I didn't either, doubt Karen or Stacey did either!!! Couldn't care less who saw it coming, just seemed to sprout out the blue on a monday! Who says Blue Monday was a bad thing?!

[MENTION=19927]Col3371[/MENTION] I've been chasing Karen since December, 2 emails a week (or so), bit over obsessive but I wasn't prepared to miss a third deadline. I wouldn't recommend everyone do this, i'd kind of class myself as a some what 'special' case being knocked back twice, if you've not been knocked back on your build, Just wait it out maybe the odd email here and there.

I'd emailed late Monday night asking for an update, karen promised to update me once the car had been built, email at 8:58AM 19/01/16 that said here's your vin,your car has been built congrats, it's now held at gate (Paraphrased). From Stacey.

Cheers. She emailed me at the start of this month saying I should be on a March build so I said I'd email again in mid Feb & go from there.

Really pleased for you though. Jeez, at your age I was married with my 1st kid & driving an old 1.6 Sierra Then again, even if I had been single then I'm not sure what I'd have driven..... was all a bit s**t in the early 90's compared to now

Ah, that's good at least, I was avidly avoiding hitting Feb/March/April build as it will land so far into the reg plate period that i'd be a bit conflicted whether to wait or not. But that's my personal reasoning! Just over the moon right now that it's built and I can sit here knowing that somewhere on the planet my lil babies about to make her/his/its voyage over to live with me :eyebulge:

Hahaha, 21 years old with that bad boy . To be fair, it'll be my 3rd (owned) car, and the only one i've bought new, and outright (Previous were 2nd / 5th hand cars - bought outright, but nowhere near this value).
Well, I'm still single, and I've got no need for a house just yet, so no marraige, no kids, no mortgage, may as well have a a "1/4 life crisis" and buy into my life long dreams (Jokes aside i've wanted a mustang for years, everyone whom I went to school with, and whom are still in uni (last year), told me 'Id never make it' and that 'id never get anywhere in life without uni' (Teachers included). Look at me now ;) )

Not worried about the plate. It's a 16 year either way: just want the car (well, I need to know asap the build date so I can organise the sale, with top dollar, of my current car but in truth..... I want the car!!!)

Yeah im just a bit of an ego sn0b with the plate to be honest. I need to sort out the sale of mine asap now, once it's on a ship to zebrugge i'll sort it out, we've got another family car I can steal if the timescales don't link up - But same as you, top dollar and all that.

Exciting times? Worth screen printing/saving your etis each day because you'll see it change build date, bits get added on (springs). The first build date that appeared on mine was 29th Dec, then the springs appeared and the date changed to 15th December. Then it goes quiet because you are waiting for a train. Have you got a window sticker yet? Should have if it's been built.

Build date atm is temporary.

It's built, but no window sticker, hasn't been updated, my prediction is it was built early Monday Morning (GMT), So waiting a bit for the window sticker tocome up

As mentioned before, mine is now on the boat 'Glorious Leader'. From what I can decipher this leaves Baltimore today (20th), with 46 other Mustangs by the look of it? Arrives in Zeebrugge 15th Feb, so looking at other folk it could be 15th March before we see them?
FYI Mine was built in October, 'gate released' by the first week of December.

Good reference and thanks for including all the dates. Were you notified of this automatically or did you have to chase?

I had an email from my dealer stating the car has 'gone into production' with more updates promised as and when available. At least its progress of a sort, and proves Ford haven't forgotten me!!

And it will be mid spring when it arrives. perfect for a soft top
