Woo hoo! Just had a call - my car has arrived at the dealer (arrived in Zeebrugge on 11th December).

I had an appointment on Thursday morning to do the paper work on my private plate transfer, so I am picking it up then!

2 sleeps to go - I don't know whether this is a late Christmas present for 2015, or an early one for 2016!

Just had an update and it has been built but has not left the plant...

Have used ETIS and seen the following:

The build date looks a little unusual...

That's because it is a "holding" date and usually means the build is "in the next few days" - it will change to a real / planned date a couple of days before, and then becomes the real / built date once the car is done...

Sorry to say - that's not a build date. It will change to a 'proper' date (UK format too) once built. You should check the window sticker as that only gets generated once the car is built I believe.

My findings, as I was in the seemingly unusual position of having a VIN for months before build, is that the window sticker will appear at some point in the fortnight before build and ETIS will only update once the car is into the build process.

Latest on mine that has been at US Docks for just over 2 weeks is that it will be allocated a vessel this week or next week. Anyone know what the time is from being allocated a vessel and it actually being loaded onto one?
