Popped in to my dealer today for an update; no change on vista yet, showing in to compound at Zeebrugge on 11th December with ETD to me of the Jan 23rd so hopefully they will get it moving again.

Built on 28th September...

Is this a standard email? I thought this desk was set up to help find cars that weren't spoken for? According to this you have to order it to get one? :shrug:

That one might be standard but the reply I got was an update on my order - not really interested in swapping cars.

Is the "matching customers with cars" service maybe aimed at those that haven't already ordered? It would end up in an unholy mess if they let everyone switch cars. Before long everyone would be buying cars built to someone else's spec ;)

Got a similar reply- does anyone know whether there's any significance in the order number? Can you compare to get an idea of your place in the queue?

I left it a good 6 months before I started bugging them, first I heard it was Early January, then late January, I'm not too sure bud placed my order sometime early July, I think I have emailed them about 3-5 times, might drop then another one in few days, one more can't hurt right? :lol:

Er...really? 6 months from 12/07/2015 hasn't arrived yet.

Why are people in the 2nd tranch hassling so hard already given that lead times quoted were generally 12 months? I ordered 26th March 2015 and can only get a 'about March 2016' build date and there are plenty worse off than me.

You can but assume, mines an EB so apparently they're quicker production etc, which explains the shorter lead time on it. Especially due to errors with the V8 engine a few months back which pushed ecoboosts up.

I understand they have come back from Shutdown and the systems may be slow this week in catching up, but just in case we have sent this again as a priority to get it moving along. It is still locked in plant waiting to be given a VIN.

I will keep an eye on it for you and get back to you with the VIN as soon as I can.

Im sure this has been posted before but can someone supply me Karens email address. I've had my VIN from my dealer for sometime, but they can't give me any update (no real surprise) and nothing has changed in ETIS for some time.

I only found the dates after it had been written, it was an edit however I forgot to recorrect the text, it was a mental estimate which I got wrong, sorry if I offended anyone, I understand o haven't been waiting the longest by any stretch however it's still irritating

Any of the boys that now have their car, car completed Zeebrugge to Southampton boat trip and/or knows their car is booked on a boat to Southampton got their vin to work on the shipping website?
I am trying to find out if my car made it on to today's boat to Southampton as I don't want the car sitting at the docks yet again missing lots of boats. Heck my car is now coming up to be 5 months old already and been waiting 15.5 months for it :(
