Are the tyre pressure sensors of the wireless type with the wireless transmitters inside the wheel rim or are they of the manual read-out type? What have people noticed that already have their cars?
Ian.

Apparently the Aus (and export ???) spec sensors run on a different frequency than the USA ones.
Someone found this out after ordering extras.
This was mentioned in a post in the Aussie section somewhere.

Pretty sure it was Phil, Race Red GT

He is the guy to ask as he had a problem with the imported ones, not sure how or if he solved it yet.

Would be good to know.

Either way, suppose I'd find out in a few weeks when ripping the Pirelli's off the factory wheels.

When you reply to a message its the blue circle thingy with a black dot in the middle, think of a blue donut. Click on that or either type

[ MENTION]Gnome but without the spaces before the M and after the N. And type the persons name between the middle ][

I think Race Red GT fixed it by buying the same sensors as those fitted to the Mondeo sold here. About $220 or so from a Ford dealer.
