The past 37 years I've owned (in order of appearance)

72 Dodge Ram pickup
77 Fiat X19
79 Mazda RX7
85 Honda Civic
91 Mazda RX7
94 Honda Civic Si
96 Jeep Cherokee
99 Chevrolet Corvette
02 Subaru WRX (FIRST NEW CAR!!!!)
06 Chevrolet Corvette
06 Pontiac GTO
05 Nissan Frontier
04 BMW 325
2016 Mustang GT (SECOND NEW CAR!!)

This has been by far my favorite car. Not in every detail but as a whole it is the best car I've ever owned. I never tire of driving it. She has so much character, performance and reliability. It will be a sad day when I have to pass her along to a new owner but at 20k a year mileage is adding up.

I completely understand. I plan on owning my '18 GT for many years, but I've also had a fun record of cars even though I don't have the history of driving that you have. :)

95 Intrepid (Police Interceptor Package)
95 Civic Si
96 Altima (SE-R motor swap)
99 Civic Si
2000 Evo
2002 Focus SVT
2007 Mazda3 2.3S (turbo)
2012 Civic Si
2017 BMW X1
2017 F-150 3.5EB (still own)
2018 Mazda3 2.5S
2018 GT Premium PP1 (current DD)

Owned three Si's, but couldn't bring myself to pick up a new one with the styling. My wife has an '18 EX-T coupe with the 6MT though. Fun and fast Civic just a trim below the Si.

My GT is the most fun car I've owned. It's loud, a blast to drive, and looks amazing. It is, by far, the car I look forward to driving every day.

Actually one of the things I liked about my early Civic Si was it always reminded me I was driving. This is something the Mustang does in spades.

I agree 100%. The Si was truly a driver's car. It was engaging, begged to be driven hard, and had very responsive handling. For a FWD car, it was truly a blast to drive. Thus, it is always at the top of my list for cars to consider. :)

I couldn't agree more that the Mustang does it in spades. When I test drove a new GT, I knew I was going home with one. It is truly a blast to drive and extremely engaging. There's just something to be said for having the HP/TQ of the Coyote 5.0 combined with precise handling. It's no supercar, but man is it a blast to drive. I was pleasantly surprised when hitting curvy roads that it doesn't handle like a "drag roadster."

Man, it's my supercar. LOL I've never owned anything this fast. Not sure I need anything faster. I drive on the intestate where speed is dictated by the only other vehicle in front of you.

Haha, I hear ya! I've had the opportunity to drive a handful of supercars, but they're just not practical for daily driving. Thus, I haven't purchased one. :)

One of the many things I love about the Mustang GT is that you can comfortably drive it around town while also unleashing the beast when conditions allow. Best of both worlds!
