As much as I like the look of the Stone and Saddle interiors seen to date, the 50th Anniversary car shows how it should really be done.
Keeping the outta portion of the seats and the headrests black, and giving a flash of colour on the doors, gives it a much more upmarket, premium feel.
The embossed Pony and "50 Years" logo, is the icing on the cake. The pony immediately brought to mind the optional pony seats from the '65
I really hope we see this look used at some point. I guess we'd need to wait for the first refresh to see such changes, but I'm guessing their relatively easily implemented. The effect, though, is stunning.
Just by way of reference, and to remind us how much the Mustang's interior has improved in the last 10 years, look how clunky the '05 looks. I still love it, but S550 does it soooooooooooo much better
