Tom: I read you loud and clear on keeping her "pure Ford," and I do adhere to that philosophy the vast majority of the time. But I sure do like the previous 500 side stripes and wish Ford had done something similar this time around.
So, I'm "considering" at this point and time but since I didn't insult Alan with the first graphic, after a fair amount of time looking at the car and doodling, this is the version I like the best.
And Alan, should you ever need or desire to have those door stripes re-done, I'll be happy to send your guy the OEM graphic in whatever file flavor he likes...(hopefully.) I'm gonna gin one of these up for RR Sarah and see what that looks like in case I get the urge to take her to my favorite paint guy. :-) Then again, to maintain the above philosophy, I think I could tolerate good quality vinyl stripes that could come off should I ever want to remove them. Hmmm...I could make those if I could match the shadow black in vinyl.
