Yeah I am pretty sure nearly all of the 2020s will be affected. I have 4,000 miles on mine and have been really aggressive on it lol.
I wonder if recalls like this are sometimes based on who built the engine. @QCGoose what's the name on the signature plate on your engine?

Not sure how TSB works but it did say that the vehicles made from December 2019 - December 2020 were all affected.

Heres a picture of when I got the car. I think it says Jason?

Interesting. As of now my VIN doesn't show up as part of the recall. Jason may be a newer builder. I found this list with a photo a few months back and he is not listed. My builder was Phil Pregano.

Rick Wright, Jim "Chopper" Randall, Phil Pregano, Tim Parrott, Paul Wilhelm, Keith Gustack, Larry Nichiow, Cary Kramp (Team Leader), Mark Schuman, Paul Forcier, Ann Marie Lemay, Carrie Booth, Gary Marston, Doug Deemer, Jeff Hamblin, Chad Wolak, Dave DeClark, John Divo, Kevin Dean, Dan Dunaway, Tim O'Brien (Manager). Missing from the photo are Paula Currier and Derek Deskins.

Where are you guys finding the list of VIN's for this TSB? I can't seem to find anything on Ford Pass.

Just want to point out that it seems they are making some assumptions here. Obviously there is a chain tensioner on each side. They are only checking one with presumably, the assumption is that if one side is OK then the other side is ok. I hope they have something to base this on and they aren't just trying to cut their losse by only 50%

Thanks for the Heads Up! Looks like I didn’t make the list! Nothing came up on FordPass either.

You can only see one side of it?

I meant that the article says to just check one side (RH) to determine if the car will require repairs.

There is a tensioner on each bank, one on RH and one on LH side.

Maybe I'm missing something. Just seems they want to check one side because it's the easy side to check...but the problem has 2 opportunities for occurring, one on each side :)

The build date for your car is separate from the date when the engine was assembled. There is a QR code located somewhere underneath the engine that you can see that will tell you when the engine was assembled.

Thanks. A lot of good info on this site, but some of these threads scare the shit out of me.
