Nothing you can or will do will fix this in 2 days. Take a breath and hope to have it ironed out for the next sale.
I'd take it back to the selling dealer and ask them to please fix this as they promised. Hiring a lawyer and starting a pissing match will cost more than the difference in price.

True about Carfax, my 2010 aside from the odo red-flag, had no reported accidents. When I took it to detail a couple of months later, the front bumper part close to the grill had some orange peel finish. It was nothing major thankfully. About my Carfax case, the dealer that messed-up told me they will take care of it on Tuesday. Can you believe they didn't even offered me a voucher for service for the inconvenience? A-holes!!

Regarding my deal, a dealer I'm working with offered me $12,900 for my trade-in plus Ford gives you $1000 for trading in a vehicle. I also have $750 in private cash. The better deal I think is to take the 1.9% APR for 72 and take all the rebates. I did the math and I save more going the rebate route. The problem is this dealership and 3 more close by only have black and white with the MSRP within my budget. My first choice is race red followed by lighting blue and magnetic. I don't like the black much less white enough to take the plunge on such expensive vehicle.

If I wait 6 more months, my budget for the Stang will be higher. I really like the 2018 in magnetic with the red interior or the lighting blue with blue stitching WOW!!
I'll probably wait for the 2018
when i got my car the dealer went and picked it up from another dealer 90 miles away from me to get the color and option combo i wanted. if you find a car at another dealer your salesman should be able to have it transfered to your dealer if they want to make the sale.

do you have x-plan pricing also? if not its worth spending $50 for a MCA membership to get x-plan which is an additional $2000+ off MSRP

I respectfully disagree with the approach most are taking with regards to a trade-in. As a buyer you care about the net. You need to focus on the big picture, which is the net cash out. You need to feel comfortable with X amount you're out of pocket and get to that number. If you try to negotiate the trade-in as one part of the transaction, and the price of the replacement vehicle as a separate component, the dealer has won. The dealer could give you $1 for trade-in, but discount the new vehicle $30k. If you focus on the trade-in, you've lost complete sight of your goal. Clearly that's an extreme example.

I've never had to negotiate a trade-in until recently since I now live in a state where you can only get a sales tax credit for a trade-in. I figure out the net number I want to write a check for, and walk in negotiating with that approach. Dealers often try to play the back and forth games on the trade-in, new car price, etc., and I just block it out. I don't care which bucket they have to flux, doesn't really matter. The end goal is I'm writing a check for X amount - everything else is just noise.

I agree with setting a max amount but that should go without saying. I completely disagree with the rest but to each their own. Good luck to the OP. Take your time, you have plenty.

Right!! I keep forgetting about MCA. Now, is the X-plan in lieu of the rebates?

Thank You everyone! Lots of great tips!!

X-plan is special pricing based on invoice. You get all rebates on top of the discounted price. A new car, for example, has a $43,875 MSRP. Invoice may be $41,150. X-plan pricing could be $41,350. Now, get the $4k in rebates, recent graduate or military rebate, and you could get the car for $36,850. Also, if your state has dealer fees, the x-plan pricing includes a dealer requirement for fees NOT to exceed $75. So that's another savings.
