Does anyone offer a film to cover the upper part of the rear bumper near the trunk? I want to get this covered soon so that I can use my trunk without worry.

I am getting the clear film put on my front bumper, mirrors head lights and the rear strip where the trunk opens. The shop I use has all the templates in the computer system.

Is the template a standard template? Would a decent shop already have it?

They should, they use EXPEL film at this shop, they didn't make the templates they weren't even sure if they were out yet until they looked them up.

No Jimmy, a clear film to protect the bumper from items being inserted or removed from the trunk.

I complained to the dealer about this, and they had a local body shop put a 3M 'clear bra' type film. Problem solved. Doesn't scratch up and you don't notice the film if they do it right. Seems like this is a design flaw IMO.
