    Guess I'll have to take it back in. Dealer replaced the camera thinking it was a hardware issue. I'll show them this thread and let you guys know if a reload works for me too.
  2. Help! Can't get out of 'zoom' mode in rear camera

    So, my rear-view camera is in a 'zoomed' mode and I no longer have my reverse guidelines there (just the radar assistance). Its all turned on in the settings. Anyone know how to get out of zoom mode? I disconnected battery for 5 mins with driver door open, still no go.

    If i hold my button down for 2 sec's it works much better than a simple quick tap. I can get the door to open from further down the street if I hold it briefly. Doesn't make sense to me, but seems to do the trick.

    Maybe I can clarify. In the 350z you could be fully engaged in 1st gear off the clutch and then floor the throttle and it would spin the tires. In my mustang GT I can be fully engaged in 1st gear but when I go WOT it won't spin the tires and as it accelerates there is a huge jump in power at 3k rpm.

    I'm not trying to race it in this circumstance. I'm simply noticing a sluggish response off the line at a red light for example until I hit 3k rpm, then boom it takes off. I usually drive in sport mode and while I'm not launching as fast as I can, I like to get to the speed limit quickly :headbang:

    Maybe its a learning for me: how are you shifting and smoking tires 1st - 2nd? Are you pushing in clutch while maintaining heavy throttle and then dumping clutch into 2nd?

    Has anyone changed out their manual transmission fluid after break in? None of the auto shops can tell me what fluid to use, so I bought Royal Purple Synchromax after remembering someone mention it. Can anyone verify it's ok to use in our manual gearbox?

  13. How are the MT-82's holding up thus far

    Removed the clutch assist spring and the jerking is gone; I can now feel the actual engage/disengage point much better and properly match revs with the shift.

    Not that I've seen so far. Lots of posts regarding thuds and grinding, but nothing about 1st to 2nd jerkiness that I can find... at least not so far.
