Transmission problems

2016 CO Mustang GT Prem., 2003 SVT Cobra DSG
I own a 2015 Mustang GT w/6auto.I added a Roush CAI and cat-back mufflers. Had it dyno-tuned using a SCT tuner. Car ran very good, no problems. A couple of months ago, I added a Steeda H-pipe. Not to long after, my trans started having problems( slipping, banging into gear). At a local car show, someone stole my tuner. I'm just wondering if anyone can help me diagnose these problems . I don't beat on or race the car, as it is my daily driver( have an 03 Cobra for fun stuff).Any professional advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks

My last mustang had the 6 speed auto and was tuned. After a few months the torque converter started slipping and banging into gear exactly what you're experiencing. You're more than likely looking at a torque converter replacement :like:

Anyways, you need a new transmission. Someone roasted it.

Slipping and rough gear shifts are transmission/valve body symptoms.

Thanks to all who replied to my transmission inquiry. I was hoping the problem was the computer that controls the trans because after I had added the H-pipe, I didn't have the car retuned to take advantage of the increased exhaust flow. I live in NW LA(which is a tuner desert, no Stang tuners anywhere close). I guess I will have to find a reputable trans rebuilder somewhere.

Zero changes needed for any increase exhaust/air flow flow by means of Natural aspiration.

Nope, but it still sees it, and between that and targeted lambda closed loop will always compensate for it.
