Something that I don't want, lol.

I see your point but I do want to remind you....Eh.
I mean, if you lease, you end up with nothing. At least at the end of the finance period, you'll have your own car.
I know a guy that had to have one when they first hit the lots....he paid $83k..I don't think anyone paid that for one. They probably all did like everyone here, got 10k under Msrp and the dealers daughters phone number.
You'd be surprised. A lot of people paid above MSRP for these.I don't think anyone paid that for one. They probably all did like everyone here, got 10k under Msrp and the dealers daughters phone number.
When I got mine there were no discounts so I paid msrp, I'm okay with it though, this car just brings smiles for days.Dodge has got too many Hellcats sitting in inventory.
Demon in cue doesnt help either, I'm sure.
$600 per month to beat on a 707hp car with a warranty for 2 or 3 years...then walk away.
I feel for the people that bought these for $75-80k not too long ago.
Always a payment and the very thing that made the economy crash in 2008.I see your point but I do want to remind you....
A friend of mine frequently leases cars that are out of his purchase range. Once they've depreciated they're cheap enough to purchase at around the same price as the lease payment
It's a way of getting something you can't normally afford and you know who the previous owner was when you buy it.
Some people don't have to pay for their own tuition... :eyebulge:So, within a short time of graduating college, the OP has owned an SS Camaro, Mustang GT, and now a Hellcat. Losing thousands and thousands every time a car was traded in or totaled.
Hmmmmmmmm........
Yeah I don't get it. I was driving $300 cars back in the day.So, within a short time of graduating college, the OP has owned an SS Camaro, Mustang GT, and now a Hellcat. Losing thousands and thousands every time a car was traded in or totaled.
Hmmmmmmmm........
I guess so, but lease terms and buying out at the end of the lease varies greatly. I know a few people who didn't buy the cars after the lease period because it was still too expensive. I guess the real point here is to live within your means, if you have to lease to do that and drive what you want, then I get it. I'm one of those people that just saves up until I know I can afford it comfortably, and I don't switch cars all that often. Hence why I'm finally buying one this year after wanting one since they debuted it in Dec 2013, and why I've owned the same Mustang for.... 12 years now. :shrug:I see your point but I do want to remind you....

I'm with one of the guys a few threads above, not buying a car that's half the value of my home. I've made a lot of poor life choices but getting car poor was never one of them.
Graduated with a finance degree (240k paid all with scholarships). got my v6 Camaro for 20k and got 23k for it when it was totaled. Got my GT 10k under sticker enjoyed it for a year traded it in for 2k less than what I paid. Hellcat leased at a ridiculous price. So, within a short time of graduating college, the 25 year old OP has owned an SS Camaro, Mustang GT, and now a Hellcat. I am not trying to brag about it but don't just start shitting on people before you know all the facts lol .
