Still nothing for me... oh well

The ENCS rep basically said to wait (very nicely, and I don't mind being told that at all) since they're not even being produced yet. I shot an email to the dealer receiving the order as well and am just waiting to hear back. As long as the ENCS rep got the order in and the dealer is aware I'm happy. I'm not worried in the slightest, just want to make sure all my ducks are in a row. A little patience goes a long way!Contact your rep at encs I believe there is a way to get that... but they also may be ordering from your dealer of choice, if that is so may take a little time to process.... not all dealers participate in encs so that may be the deal. When my truck was made, for the longest time the Vin never registered.. kept saying export or something like that... I will check my order sheet tonight for ya if it helps
I have no problem waiting for specs. Okay, I'm certainly wishing we had them already, but even though I'm anxious about that, I'm being patient. My comments are referring to vehicle options and the lack of any and/or confusing information regarding them. I thought I made that point pretty clear by mentioning the 68B package, 50th package, etc.You only make it frustrating for yourself... When you ordered the car, you clearly knew that not all the specs were out and was going through a finalization of the production car. I would rather wait and see Ford get everything right with this car than to take delivery and deal with numerous warranty issues. Ford sure as hell does not want that unlike GM that always wants to one up on Ford and it is always rush, rush, rush. Look at the ugly rear end of the Camaro! It lost its DNA in the rear compared to the front! More of a wait just gives me more time to shave off more from my budget so I can be happy and drive the Mustang home!
Its no different from from some games.. some get delayed a little then there are others that are delayed over a year because the devlopers thought there was a issue with quality of the game... Seems no different here as there are a ton of disappointed people bickering of the delay.
When I ordered my Audi TT back in 2000.. I had to wait a few months as well though the car was already in production... It still had to be shipped from overseas by ship then waited for customs and transportation up to Dallas from Houston then the dealer prep after that.. In all It was right around 4 maybe 5 months by the time I got my car. Salesguy kept me up to date on every phase the car went through from the chassis being built to the rail ride to Ingolstadt for final assembly. So I am used to this. Is this the first time for everyone to order a car to your liking? This is my 3rd time because I rarely find everything that I want in a dealer stock car and alot of what I don't want in it that I would wind up paying more for.
exactly... Heck, Did you choose a delivery date? I checked my old ENCS quote... did not see anything but the internal stuff and the receiving dealership. I never really paid much attention to the tracking process as I was too busy staying alive in Iraq...lol I had a delivery date around the end of April 2006 but when I was finally at home around March, I got a call from the dealership saying that my truck was ready to pick up.. Its been on the lot for a couple months.. Order was placed end of Dec, 2005The ENCS rep basically said to wait (very nicely, and I don't mind being told that at all) since they're not even being produced yet. Doesnt it state it on the order guide? Could have sworn I saw it on there but I can understand if you are wondering about how it looks and the builder not reflecting anything. Maybe ford is refining it along with a host of other things. I think that it was put up to keep some people busy with it and salivating over their keyboards by throwing packages in there... I guess it also created a stir making people even more impatient..I have no problem waiting for specs.
