^^^Congrats!!
I was in the Navy deployed when all three of my children were born (good planning). When I saw this posted I felt the exact same feeling. For me, a guy, it felt just like a child being born without being there to actually experience it (I'm sure my wife's experience was a bit different). Now I've got to wait for it to be delivered just like I had to wait till my ship returned home to see all of my other children for the first time.

BTW, I named my mustang "Patience" and I bet you all can guess why :)

I think my blue line in order processing just moved an 1/8 of an inch...like watching grass grow.

It shows up in their inventory also!
Yup, that's how I got the sticker and actual build date. All dealer stock orders should show up in inventory.

@FordServiceCA did say my car is exactly there too. Only that Canadian orders can't be checked on COTUS Ford. I am getting my updates on Twitter.com. :gossip:

I'm in Kitchener, Ontario and my order went in during the end of June. I've had a VIN for about a month now, but it's never gone beyond 'In Processing'. I was told by Ford Customer Service on here that my build date is probably late September.

My dealer did do two orders of the exact same car for me. One as a custom order and one as a dealer order. The custom order doesn't have a VIN and the order/dealer code doesn't work, but the dealer order has a VIN and it shows up.

Long story short, I think us Canadians can't do much on that site without a VIN.

Question, with many of you getting "in production" and "awaiting shipment the last 2 weeks, was the "assembly line has begun" press release just a photo op/press release or did the assembly line literally just start building the first cars yesterday?

The official beginning was yesterday when they built the auctioned 1st car off the line ($300,000) http://www.autoblog.com/2014/01/18/barrett-jackson-2014-first-production-2015-ford-mustang-video/. They started building mustangs that can be sold last week to work out the bugs in the line. My car was actually build the day before the Barrett Jackson car was built ($35,850). I think I got the better deal :headbang:

I know the Barrett Jackson thing was for charity and whoever bought it must be filthy rich but that's kind of weak, lol. BTW that car was 300k not 200k! Anyway so those of you who ordered first with dealer stock will be getting the cars that went down the line as a "dry run"? Hope its all good. :) seriously congrats though, cannot wait to see pics of the cars in people's driveways.
