  1. Canadian Embargo?

Wow I really must have lucked out! Went from whining on Friday, to having it be shipped on Sunday to having it delivered today! Now just waiting for the dealer to do detailing and PDI.
  2. Canadian Embargo?

I didn't realize they ordered mine as stock until later on. They told me later they ordered mine as retail and the exact same for stock too, letting me take whatever comes first. The retail order still doesn't even have a VIN yet.
  3. Canadian Embargo?

Well my whining must have worked. She shipped out yesterday. Now to wait 'patiently' for it to arrive at the dealership!
  4. Canadian Embargo?

Just makes me sad knowing it's been built and sitting in a lot at the factory for almost a month just waiting for a north bound truck.
  5. Canadian Embargo?

I ordered in June too, but I think my dealer put mine as a stock order. They said if it was a retail order I wouldn't even have a VIN yet
  6. Canadian Embargo?

Awesome, so now I'm not even getting the truth. It's not like I'm far from there either, my dealer is in Cambridge which is an hour from Toronto
  7. Canadian Embargo?

Just wondering if anyone has heard of a Canadian embargo? My car has been built since September 19th, and any other Canadian VINs I look up were either built around the same date or even earlier. All of them have been 'awaiting shipment' ever since. I asked Ford Customer Service on here and was...
  8. Retail Orders: Scheduled, Built, Delivered

I just went on my dealer's website, they have a tab for 'new inventory'. They show two Mustangs, one is mine and I'm assuming the other is a stock order as well. For some reason, the mobile version of the same website will show you the VIN numbers.
  9. Retail Orders: Scheduled, Built, Delivered

I'm in Ontario and COTUS never worked until I got my VIN a month ago. Also, the dealer part was always blank as well. As of now my car has been built and awaiting shipment. It also shows up in my dealer's website new inventory. So I wouldn't worry.
  10. Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the S550

I figured that was the case, was just hoping it was wrong. Hate the ugly dull yellow of a halogen compared to the bright white.
  11. Any Canadians Close to Having Theirs Yet?

I watch hundreds of new Challengers go down the 401 on a truck carrier to the US. Yet they're not even listed on Dodge Canada's website besides in 'brochure' form.
  12. Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the S550

In this review at http://driving.ca/ford/mustang/reviews/road-test/car-review-2015-ford-mustang he states "All models get HID headlamps. Signature LED lights that look like shark gills add to the aggressive look. Canadian models will use the LED fog lights for daytime running lights." I hope...
  13. Any Canadians Close to Having Theirs Yet?

Mine never worked that way either. I was only able to check when they sent me the VIN
  14. Any Canadians Close to Having Theirs Yet?

I just used the http://www.cotus.ford.com like the Americans, shows up fine. My dealer has another car show up in their inventory 'awaiting shipment' as well. They placed two identical orders, one was dealer stock and the other was retail custom order. The retail custom order doesn't have a...
  15. Any Canadians Close to Having Theirs Yet?

Just saw that my order moved into 'Awaiting Shipment' and ridiculously excited about it! Just curious if anyone other Canadians were at the same stage? I ordered June 24. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Adaptive Cruise Control

Oh it definitely puts on the breaks, been cut off a few times by slow moving cars and had the Explorer slow down rapidly.
  17. Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the S550

I think he's talking about Canada specifically when saying all engine and trim levels come with fog lights. Bums me out because our Explorer has LED headlights and halogen fog lights. So you see two different colour of lights at night. White for LED headlights and yellow'ish for fog lights. I...
  18. Adaptive Cruise Control

I live an hour south of Toronto and have it on my Explorer. It's fantastic driving up and down the 401, as well as our drive to Florida in back. In the 4 years of owning our Explorer we only twice had a sensor block error. Once being a time that it was snowing so badly I shouldn't have actually...
  19. The 2015 Mustang coming to Forza 5

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but the '15 Mustang GT will be in Forza Horizon 2 as well! http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/news/fh2_car_reveals
