Tracking: Awaiting Shipment

Rather than fill the 'In Production' thread with the other steps, I thought it would be fun to track the progress for 'Awaiting Shipment' in a separate thread. Hopefully it won't be too long until we start to see some cars make the transition.

This'll be interesting to watch vs. 'In Production'. In 2010 when they started building the 11's there were a lot that sat in 'Awaiting Shipment' for months. The first ones that got built weren't the first ones that shipped.

Good luck, would be really nice to see that change to 'In Transit' next week!

Hopefully this doesn't happen with the 15's. Most of the issues were with the new 5L's, although there were several rumors floating around for the delays such as a Godzilla like monster that ate a bunch of Mustang parts.. or an old batch of 5.0 engines from the 80's was accidentally shipped and installed in a thousand cars..

Very cool. Im thinking that all the doom and gloomers betting on December deliveries will be pleasantly surprised by something closer to October.

Is either the exact build date of the car?

I'm guessing 8/18 was the day scheduling was complete for this car and 8/21 was the day it was built. Just a guess

Yes sir...hoping enough pre-production cars were built to work out the kinks. Crossing my fingers it passes QC quickly. I am hoping for a few weeks driving on summer tires before snow hits Chicago!
