OooOooH - a question I can answer with relevance! Ha!

I run a 19x11 squared setup with 305/30R19 Cup 2s on them. I went with the Signature SV502s. They're fully forged - so extremely strong and light (mine weigh 20.4lbs, 46.4lbs with the Cup2s mounted). They also have 1/2in of caliper clearance - my OEM wheels had 1/4in.

I rotate after every track day. I did 2 days at Thunderhill a couple weeks ago. Thunderhill is REALLY tough on the right front tire, so the beginning of day 2, I put the right front on the left rear, moved the right rear to the right front, etc.

Really, really happy with my setup. Super light, very strong, and built specifically for Motorsport. Price will come in between your typical $2K wheels from 6GRs/Apex/P51 and the Forgelines.

OK, so, I am getting an R. Why wouldn't you track the CF wheels and get replacements for the street?
I did until one of my CF wheels had an issue. Look up a thread I started for details. I repaired the CF wheel, but have my street rubber mounted on them now. I still track the CF wheels with street tires - will probably mount slicks on them next.

Interesting read, thanks. Guess I have some thinking to do. Good thing is I have a lot of time to think about it :)
