I think ford should offer a non-profit (ford's cost) package, with a pre-designated labor cost for this fix.

I'd sign up for that as long as total cost don't exceed price difference of my '16 Tech pack and comparable '17..

If they sold us the parts at cost and gave a break on the labor, I'd say that would be more than reasonable IMO. I'd do something like that in a heartbeat.

For that kind of pricing, I would do some legwork and rig up an aftermarket setup...... Maybe investigate an add-on kit for a Gen5 camaro

Interesting. When I bought the R calipers, the guy said I could send in any mustang caliper, even one from a V6 and get the core deposit back

As did Tousley when I ordered a GT350 spec TR3160 from them. There were no cores available at that time either as the car had just been released.
