After 3 track days here is what my tires look like.
Ordering Cup2s today and after they come in the Vorshlag camber plates are going in.
How does my tire wear look and how much life is left in the tires track vs street?
These are only the fronts but I’m getting new ones all the way around.

You still have some life left in them!!! After you install the caster/camber plates you should be able to dial in some "MORE" -CAMBER!!!

Adjustable camber plates and a proper track alignment are vital in tire longevity! I have 8 sessions over 2 days and just rotated my SC2s... I’d say they have 50% or more life left in them.

Yeah, you got tons of life in them. By the way, that melted rubber can come off the tires if you really like to clean them up. Vorshlag plates are great! I own those too and sadly, I don't take advantage of the adjustability. There are still on track settings, lol. As far as ordering cup tires, just set them on the storage shelf but you shouldn't be swapping them on until those are chorded or at least bald. If rain is on the forecast, you swap to your rain set.

Yes. I have a base car but upgrading to the Cup2 for my next set.. These are the factory base 4s tires.

Those look fine. Once they get past the wear marks, I use them as autox/practice tires and run them to the cords.

Gotcha. They looked like some other wheel from the pic angle, plus the center cap threw me off.....

Others said it - I will concur. TONS of life on these tires. That additional stuff you see is just OPR (other people's rubber) that has been picked up on the track.

Can't say for sure but I'd imagine the Cup 2's, while more grip, will also have less tire life. Those 4S's you have there will last for multiple weekends more.

When driven at the limit, the life expectancy of almost any tire in a high hp car is ~250-350 track miles; or 1-2 days. When driving well below the limit, you'll start to see certain tires lasting longer than others.

I assure you my ability is well below the limit of this car unlike some one here who’s ability is not.
