Lol. Thankfully, flights have all been flatulent-free so far.

Augusta Airport was near empty. I'd say less than 50% of the people I saw there were wearing masks.

George was busy taking care of a few things so I did a quick walk through. Warning, mega large size file, link will die in short order...

Tob: I can't begin to tell you how much drooling occurred while watching your clip but it would have taken one of those medieval chingassos to handle it!

OMG would I LOVE to spend a few weeks (at least) watching George at work. And the STOCK...WHOA! But what is the barrel-looking thing with leads at the end?

Not sure what happened with the video resolution though, playback here was way below HD and I'll be curious if things improve once you've put it online.

Loved every minute of it, amigo but man, we gotta get you a gimbal for that phone! <smiling>

Thanks again,

Res should have been high. Jaime, what was the quality like when you saw it?

The "barrel-looking thing" makes bushings. Feed in round bar stock, program, and let it go.

Thanks, Tob, I never would have guessed.

Don't know what to say about the video quality but me thinks that SamsungCloud may be intruding, I don't know. Tried my darnedest to save it to disk but had no luck.

I'll be interested in what Jaime or others are seeing but no matter, it's almost time!

And you couldn't have a better weather forecast...sunny through Wednesday and the temps will be in the high 70's and low 80's with not much wind. Perfect.

HAVE FUN!

KB, I clicked on Tob's link, then clicked "download" at the bottom and it downloaded an 856MB file which is 1080HD when I play it back. If you want I can send it to you. Great video by the way. Always like to see how things are being made.

Since we are talking a bit about travel, I am in Colorado (Evergreen) visiting friends this weekend. I take United from Sacramento to Denver when I come here as they normally have 6 non stop flights, now they only have two. I usually always sit in row 2 and first class was completely full. Economy was fairly full but they kept all of the middle seats open unless I guess it was family or maybe a friend. We got snack box's on our flight but nothing but bottled water to drink. Sac airport was a little less busy than normal and about half the people wearing masks. Denver airport was way less crowded than normal and almost everyone was wearing masks.

On this flight was the very first time I have worn a mask during this pandemic. It is not required in my county (Tuolumne CA) to wear masks anywhere even though some people do. Since this has started we have only had 4 total cases in the entire county but we don't have a lot of people and are very spread out.

Resolution was just fine for me, I did however just install the coolest looking wireless modem that has changed my world at home.

Thanks, Mark, I have it now. Problem was, the status bar on the viewer was no more than an eighth of an inch tall and the word "DOWNLOAD" was about a sixTEENTH! Never saw it until you brought it up.

There are a few disadvantages to old eyes and high resolution displays. :-)

WAY better though and again, I am completely blown away by all the equipment, especially the CNC machines. I think if I had access to one, I'd have to learn one of the CAD/CAM suites as I would go nuts fabricating. :-)

Tob: Thanks again, thoroughly enjoyed it (now that I can focus on the frames.) :-)

Who knows, Jaime but I had to chuckle at the modem remark. I'm guessing signal strength was an issue in various areas before the upgrade.

I hate and love WiFi but even with three routers strategically-placed, I still don't get full bandwidth everywhere.

But I'm glad to know things are better at Casa Jaime. :-)

My outdoor router died and I need to replace it so I can get the wireless irrigation controller back online all the time. As it is, I end up setting my phone down in the open door of the building with the controller and then go in the house and do what I need to do via the browser. PITA that you can't do simple things like suspend ops from the controller (or the dang app,) itself or at least I haven't found it and the manual is worthless. Crummy software, as usual.

I took a shit ton of photos of in process billet aluminum for numerous parts/assemblies that George does. A couple things I'm dying to share but have to wait until they are released.

Something else. Holy **** do I ever want one of these George just got it and we drove it to his facility today. It is an utter beast and begging for track use.

Heading up to Charlotte in a few hours.

Trying to get used to not wearing a mask. Most of the public here isn't wearing them. Went out for pizza last night and while the staff all had them on, none of the customers did. Gonna be weird going back to NY and having to wear one everywhere again

That sure is a beautiful piece of machinery, Tob.

As for masks, in this burg, the same thing seems to be going on as you're seeing down South, few are wearing them. But, like Mark's situation, we've only had 275/3 in this county.

Only time will tell if things heat back up with the re-openings but in the mean time...

Drive those cars like you stole them tomorrow! :=)

That promises to be a fun drive if you and George are making it in that "beast!"

My mask has become a part of me...looks cool with shades...:sunglasses:...just gotta use anti-fog.
