Is there a way to "train" the tpms on these 2020's, the manual doesn't mention it like what I see for the 14 F150? I'm looking at buying a set of wheels for the rear and will buy sensors for them, in the past I've seen people say to only use oem sensors is that still a thing. thanks Jim

You may need to have a syncing tool/remote to set the tpms sensors. When I swapped my rims out I got the Ford Performance tpms with the tool to set them. That's all thats I needed.

I have used multiple sets of wheels and purchased sensors for all of them. NEVER have I needed a tool to train them. Drive about 50 feet and they sync up and display the pressure. My 2016 and 2018 both worked the same way.

OP, if you buy OEM Ford sensors, you won't need to train them, they do so automatically in these cars. Once you install them onto the car, drive for a distance, they will automatically display the updated tire pressure on the display.

There is a pairing/training procedure, but in the vast majority of cases, the Ford system is intelligent enough to self-train with the new wheels mounted, and after having driven a certain distance.
