Tires are worn down and I wanted to find a set of GT tires/rims. Found a local guy who had a set of 100A GT tires/rims identical to mine, brand new takeoff's. I read on here and on other sites that re-learning the TPMS is really simple. Is that same process to work in this situation?

Put new wheels on and car will automatically learn the new sensors.

If you are swapping stock Ford for stock Ford they may sync, however unless you are really lucky the tire pressure's on your screen will not coordinate with the tire locations You may have to use the Ford TPMS synchronizing device. Then there is a procedure you must follow. Can't remember the specifics but has to do with coordinating start button sequenced with dash tire pressure indicator.

I priced Ford TPMS's at 72 $ each as I need a set for new wheels. I found on E-Bay a set of four that were listed "will work on your 2019 GT Prem," for 32$ the complete set. Not sure if it will hold up. I am taking my GT into Ford to have the tire's/wheels dynamically balanced, TPMS's Sync'd, and Speedometer recalibrated for the larger dia. wheels this coming Tues. I sure hope they E-Bay TPMS's work. It will be a costly re do if things don't sync. Oh yea and not all model years will interchange.

I have summer tires and wheels and winter tires and wheels. Both sets have Ford tpms sensors in them. When I switch them back and forth, the tpms system in the car self learns each time with no problems. You should have no problems providing the sensors are Ford sensors.

I have the factory OEM wheels and sensors, winter wheel set with aftermarket sensors, and my current wheel set up with aftermarket sensors. All 3 sync up with no effort on my part.

Just got my GT back. The aftermarket TPMS did learn and sync, a relief. Can't believe Ford is gouging people for 288$ a set.

JFYI the service manager said they could not recalibrate my speedo to adjust for the larger diameter wheels. He said my VIN# did not allow for any optional wheel sizes. He added that It would take an aftermarket program to accomplish the task. Also said the difference in diameter was negligible and wouldn't affect ABS or transmission shifting.

Yeah, I think you'll be ok with the speedo being off a percent or two. Haven't heard of anyone having issues is you stay fairly close to the OE size.
