I hear you. I wish there was an easy solution. TPMS systems are a wonderful tool to keep us safe, but having been in the trenches as a store manager, I will admit that it can be frustrating tool to work with at times.

Looking back over the thread, I might recommend a few things.

If you still have your stocks on, take your car to a local tire shop and have them do a simple relearn. That will tell you if your OE sensors are dead or dying. They may just need to be "woken up". That will be a base line test to see if it's a sensor problem or a system problem.

Have that shop scan the aftermarket sensors to ensure they are programmed properly for the vehicle. it might be just that simple.

Sorry for the long winded response, but I think we need to regroup and start from scratch.
Thank you, I will do this. Now can I do this as well with the small controller from my older Ford tpms I had from my last car?

Ok I just went through the relearn with my controller & the psi all changed to what it's reading on my manual gauge, so I assume it's reading them now. Now to take it for a 45 min drive, just washed my car this Sunday, & it's raining, but oh well.

I'm sorry if I misspoke. My intent was to give you step by step reset instructions. I would NOT recommend disabling them.
I know tpms issues can be frustrating at times, but it is a very important safety feature.

I know when I swapped to another set of wheels, it took over an hour of driving to get them to relearn. And I had issues for a while as well due to the fact I had my factory wheels in the garage and when the car was parked it would confuse the car's computer. I moved them out to my building which is probably 100 feet away and the issues stopped. I agree, TPMS is a pain in the @$$ but it is a wonderful feature, I wouldn't want to do without it especially with the 30 series tires I have.

Well, I read the whole article & in it there was a link to do both. I'm not going to buy that device just yet. I already paid for the sensors, so I want them working. Which they are now. Thanks for your help. Now if I could only get the aftermarket ones to work.

I had not thought about this. I have my set sitting in front of the car on a rack. But yesterday I found our that the stock wheel sensors were dead/asleep. After going through the process of syncing them. I posted about how when I turned the car on they went blank. Well I had to go do a data log so when I started to drive around, about 3 blocks over, 1 of them woke up, then 2, then all 4. Drove around for :45 & all stayed synced up. So now I'm gonna remove them, maybe take them out to my shed or farther away, reinstall aftermarket wheels & try to do the relearn process again. Maybe as the gentleman above stated, my tire guys programmer is not up to date & that's why they don't sync. I still believe it might be that he keeps buying the 3rd party vendor ones as Skye stated & not the ones made by Ford. We will see. Ill post my results. Thank you all for your input, help & time.

That's good news that the OE sensors are up to the task. Half way there! Please keep is posted.

Yeah I put mine in my building away from the car for a few days, made sure the new sensors learned and were working. Once the new ones were functional, I brought my stock PP wheels back to the garage and put in my rack for storage. They indeed do go to sleep after a while so I have no problems now. I will do the same process when I swap back for the cooler months. I have Michelin Pilot all season 4 tires on my PP wheels so I can drive the car in the cooler months comfortably and not worry about driving on hockey pucks for tires :) These summer tires are hard as bricks when it's down to 40 degrees or so and feel like they are square til warmed up. Can't wait for it to warm up a bit more. :)

100% success rate buying from tpms.com and generally the best price by a mile.

Sounds like you have at least failing module. Loose and banging around perhaps? The batts don't last forever so unless you know your stock is fresh...

NEVER trust ebay for TPMS. Your success rate is 50/50 at best. I once got a dozen KNOWN BAD sensors - they even had an 'X' in sharpie on them.

Discount Tire has quite the selection and the ability to program pretty much anything. Except they want $60/per which is nuts.
The rest of your post might explain DT charging $60 to program. LoL

$60 is enough to keep most from asking them to do it. Particularly the type of customer who buy the cheapest possible TPMS. I wouldn't want to try if many outcomes are failures and customers blaming them plus demanding a refund or refusing to pay.

Have three sets of rims and tires for my 18, all with OEM Ford sensors. So far whenever I swap tires they have automatically synced after a drive.

Yeah that's what I think my issue is. Guy must of installed his vendors units, not the made by Ford ones. But my oe Ford wheels were asleep yesterday. But had been on the rack for over a year & a half
