So i have a 2015 v6 with ~3500 miles and when i was driving down the road i got an error message on my center screen saying "TPMS error" and when you go to check the pressure in the gauge mode it shows my front tires and my left rear but the right rear has 3 dashed lines. It says this everytime i start the car now and my tire sensor light stays on. this has gone on for a few days and i have not had time to take it to a dealership but i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I have the problem with 1 wheel. The pressure was stuck at 39 PSI the whole time, until one day it becomes flat line. after the dealer checked it, there is actually No TPMS on that wheel :headbonk:. I have no idea how it stuck at 39 PSI instead of showing flat line for 2000 miles.

There may be an issue with the monitor, kodypiccirilli. I recommend contacting your local dealer to see what they recommend. If you decide to take it in, shoot me a PM beforehand. I'll look into resources on my end to assist.

They may just have to recalibrate it. Takes like 30 seconds.

The little battery in that particular TPMS could be dead too but I doubt it on a car that new. I think they normally last like 5 years.

Does anyone know if the system does not see the sensors, as in aftermarket wheels with no sensors in the rims, if the traction control will be stuck in the on/engaged position?

I have never heard of tire pressure being related to the traction control system.

as a matter of fact, for most manufacturers, it is.

when no tmps is not located or in fault mode the automobile defaults into full traction control mode... if the car is so equipped.

I wasn't really sure about ford products.
