I usually wash my cars two at a time, thats a lot of hand wringing the towels for drying my cars.
Looked up wringers and $140 and up. That's a lot of jack!

I can buy a lot a drying towels for that. Any other suggestions. I probably wring the drying towel 6 times per car.

I’m not here to critique your process but you may want to introduce a leaf blower, metro vac n blo, or Big Boi blower to your routine. That will get the bulk of the water off first. It’s also good to get water out of the cracks, seals, lights, wheels, etc.

Then get a quality drying towel and use the drag/pull method.

Skip ahead to about 8 minutes in this video for an example.

It will also cut down on wiping too much which introduces most scratches/love marks. I use that first towel and one is plenty for a mustang. I probably wring it once per drying. It also helps if your car is coated.

As a few have mentioned, using a blower to remove the bulk of the water before using a towel certainly helps.

I use a Big Boi but have used a leaf blower in the past.

Ready for the towel, using a quick detailer as a " drying aid" -

Spend a few minutes looking at some of these drying towels -

If you prefer a smaller towel, consider these two -

(12 x 12 or 15 x 24)

I have been using these for a little while now, a smaller towel but considering how little water is left after the blower, they are ideal for this sort of drying method.

The Rag Company has a fair amount of my contributions, DFB... <smiling> I personally prefer these types for drying... and the plush type for polishing.

I hadn't seen the Gauntlet type though and I like what I see, may give a couple of those a try, thanks. Nor have I tried the premium twisted loop, like the looks of those, too.

I need to get a bigger damn cabinet though, the current two are crazy full. :-)

Any brand better for repeated laundry visits. I never reuse before washing machine cleans them. Usually put drying towels and micro cloths together in one load.

Also, do the color of micro clothes have any reason.

I live in a very sandy area, not a lot of concrete. Tried a battery blower but kicked up sand. So I do not use a blower.
