The GT with PP is nice and planted feeling compared to a regular GT. You have to drive to experience the difference. I went PP event though I live in Idaho and get snow. Just made that when it came time for new tires, I got A/S that had a decent snow rating as well. Drive them both and then decided.

I notice you're in Oregon. Do you really want a performance pack with summer only tires. If you're going to daily drive it you'll need another set of winter wheels, tires and TPMS sensors. I drove a premium pkg GT with the black pkg today and thought it rode and handled fine. My next GT will be my 5th in a row and living in RI and intending to DD it, I'm definitely not going with PP. I just wish Ford offered magneride on the base suspension. Waiting to see if they make that change for '19, then I'm getting my car!
I drive a company vehicle for work and have only put 3500 miles on my Challenger in 2 years. I also have a classic car that i drive in summer and on nice weekends. summer only tires are not an issue for me.

So i went and picked up the Lightning Blue PP car today. man this thing drives like a Go-kart compared to the ScatPack. I instantly noticed the huge difference in low end torque in going from the 6.4 to the 5.0 the butt dyno says the Scat Pack is faster but i know it's lying and probably needs recalibration.

I say the PP is worth it, unless its going to be a DD. Then I might reconsider. I drove my Mustang from Dayton to Indy and 70 beat the holy ba-jesus outta me. But as it's no longer my daily, I am VERY happy with the PP, and the 301a package.

In the end, get what you want and enjoy it!

Congrats on the Blue PP. I have a '17 GTPP with Recaro"s and I daily drive it. Much better than a regular GT. As the others have said, the package is well worth the entry cost x2.

I think what really matters is what you want from the car. I want a daily driver that’s comfortable. I drove the base suspension today and compared to my 2007 GT convertible, it’s a fine riding car that I think will be comfortable every day in the Northeast 12 months seasons that I go through. I’m not willing to go through the trudgery of swapping out wheels and tires and TPMS sensors winter and summer to have a firmer ride on a track in the summer months. Others may disagree but that’s why they offer options. I will Never raced the car on a track, it’ll be my commuting car to work my errands and my every day car of the year.

You made the right choice. Why go from a scat pack challenger to to the mustang gt and not get the option that showcases one of the main strengths over the challenger.

Congratulations! That car is a beauty. If you take it to the drag strip or just use the virtual dragstrip on the instrument cluster, let us know how you do.

Thanks for the picture. Is there a spoiler? More pictures please.
