Tob you are SO correct about a pair (or pack.) <smile> They compliment one another, watch out for one another, and love each other like brothers and sisters. I ALWAYS make that suggestion to folks with only one pup.

Yes, Tom, they're getting happier by the day but man, can that guy EAT! OMG, he's eating three times as much as she is. :-)

I am a dog lover at heart, the problem is that during my time in the middle east, i collected a bunch of Persian tabriz carpets. Dogs would have a field day on them and potentially ruin one 20k rug at a time.

Dogs are cool. I never got to know yours, but they do become family. One of the coolest dogs I ever heard of was, well, you know who....

I feel for you. The pain is still worth the joy. I’ve had blues, a fawn, an albino, and currently a red. My fawn and albino were rescues. Absolutely love the breed. View attachment 487946

Sorry for your loss bro. Losing a dog is harder than losing a family member in my opinion. No cool pics with mine since I been overseas all year and my car is just sitting. But she’s my whole world!

But you are SO correct about it being worth it. Dobies get such a bad wrap from Hollywood when in fact, they're so friendly and lovable.

Our new guy, the galoot <grin> is snoozing happily on a blanket behind my chair. He just couldn't BE any friendlier but what a horse! :-)

Sorry about your loss. I've got a soft spot for all dogs, especially Dobies.
This is Scarlett, she just turned 14 months on the 12th. It may not look it, but she's 68 LBS of lap dog.
