Torque spec: cat to manifold nut

Does anyone have the torque spec for the but that holds the catalytic converter to the manifold (part 4 in the photo)?
I know most people here are removing their cats and not reinstalling them šŸ˜†

Just tighten it down. Your never going to get an accurate torque on it anyway, unless you have the motor dropped out of the car.The pinch nuts holding the manifold to the cylinder heads are 24 lb.ft for reference, and I believe the stud on the cat is the same size.

Unless you replace the nuts, the stock torque spec doesn’t matter. That said, those nuts seem to tighten over time so don’t get carried away. I’m kidding of course, but they’re generally much harder to break loose than you would think.

I do have new nuts to go on. In any case I think it is a valid point it will be hard to get a torque reading anyway.

I've always done 2 bolt exhaust flanges "tight enough" never had an issue so far.
