Tonneau Cap Storage Bag

I had some microsuede material left over from a different project and thought of a way to use it for the tonneau caps. Those caps were just begging to get abused just laying around in the trunk. I asked my wife if she would make sew 2 compartments to safeguard them when not installed. Although the photos don't do them justice they fill the need and look stylish at the same time.

Great idea and the final product looks like it turned out well.

I want to like the tonneau caps but losing the ability to put the top up without getting out and removing the caps first has kept me from using them frequently.

Yep, I usually only put them on for long drives or, when we were going to them, shows. Never in daily use. Guess that’s one (perhaps the only)advantage the Camaro has on the Mustang.
