I'm exploring options to make the FRPP Touring Cat-Back a bit quieter. Does anyone know if I could add an after-market resonator or the OEM resonator (leaving the FRPP Touring mufflers)? Any thoughts about how much this might tone down the exhaust note? I'm looking for a sound that is somewhere in-between the OEM sound and the FRPP Touring Cat-Back sound. Thanks!

I thought the ford racing touring was one of the quiet exhausts

If you want quiet, get the Corsa Xtreme

Then let me know if that was what you're looking for:cheers:

I think one guy toned down his Gibson catback which has a lot of drone with dynamax bullet resonators.

woah, make the touring quieter? best options is to put stock exhaust back on and cut mufflers off and use the axle back mufflers from the touring. 1st I've heard of wanting the already less loud touring even quieter!

I wish it was more known to people but the Borla Touring kit is the quieter of all the Borla and Ford Racing (by Borla) kits. The Ford Racing Touring still uses an X pipe where the Borla Touring uses a custom mid muffler to quiet it down.

You can now purchase the mid muffler that comes in the Borla kit separately. Her is the link

I bet Hypermotive or Beefcake can do better on pricing as well

Is anyone running the Borla Touring (not Ford Racing Touring) exhaust system?

I have the FRPP Touring and I can tell you that it is in no way a quiet exhaust. It is really loud IMO. I personally don't want to tone it down, but based on sound clips I've heard, if you put the factory resonator back on and keep the FRPP mufflers, it will probably be too quiet for most people.
