Current mods: corsa sport cat back

Mods on the way: LT catless headers

Long term goal is to go FI. For now I'm looking to build the car in chunks. I'm fixing to order lt headers and I'm contemplating also going e85.

Should I switch to e85 now or go FI first then switch to e85?

Do it. But keep in mind at WOT I am getting less than 3 miles a gallon if that. If I were to put this on a dyno and go WOT say in 4th gear I could drain the tank in about 9-10 minutes. I would never do that but to give you an idea. My fuel light comes "50 miles to go" fuel light comes on between 1/4-1/2 tank. Thank God I have E85 on every corner in my neighborhood. I have ran this fuel for many years because of the availability and the power gains. And I love the smell of Carmel Korn. :D

I enjoy E85 but the gas mileage is god awful. Having to go to the gas station every 3 days can get annoying.

Same exact route I went. Depends on your tuner and your bank acct.
I went with Lund so I switched to the FF tune. When NA I enjoyed the hell out of the FF tune could put anything in tank and the car would adjust.
Its a whole different ball game going to E85 on FI. So I would go the E85 route now and enjoy it.

It costs almost a dollar a gallon less than premium though (at least here) so the cost per mile driven is actually less on E-85 even factoring in the 25% loss in fuel economy. Only thing I hate is driving 30 miles to get it as we have zero stations in this county.

That would be my deciding factor, is availability. If e85 was more available in my area id be running it. Unfortunately they're few and far in between and AZ has e54.

I struggle to get more than 8 or 9 MPG in the city on E85. It's amazing.

This car isn't a daily for me so it's not a big deal as far as mileage/cost goes. I have plenty of e85 around as well. Thanks for the input you all!

Running E85 is an addiction once you've experienced it - do it!

I say do it. I'm NA and only mods are JLT intake and CB exhaust. I feel the power difference and it provides a fun way to switch things up during those monotonous times.

I get an extra 7-9 degrees of timing with some ethanol added over the 93 octane here.
