I get that they are better than other 200TW tires in the cold (maybe one of the only ones that can be ran in the cold) but they're not going to perform miracles.

My 2016Procharged GT was right at 550 rwhp. According to MT, a 2019 GT350 made 494rwhp. That's why I added the adjective "almost". And I doubt his car is stock.

Nobody's trying to drag race on 30 degree roads. You're still way better off on an all-season. What if a bus full of kids pulls out in front of you?

So an all season won't panic stop better than a ECS in freezing temps? I think you're missing my point here.

I still stop better that my 3/4 ton on all terrains. They just don't work as well as in the warm, but they still stop and turn better than half of the cars on the road.

I'm not really here for this conversation, so yall can stop tagging me in it.

I've got enough of seat time in supercharged cars Camaros, GT500s, and I'm very confident that I can give good advice on first-hand use with a wide selection of performance tires, because I do have that first hand experience. Actual time, in wet conditions, dry, hot days and cold days.

Yall want to gatekeep and think that *zero first hand experience* with a tire makes you experts, great. Good luck with that. I'm speaking from actual time behind a wheel with these tires. I've driven enough blown and not blown cars with a helmet on to have a pretty good idea what translates and what doesn't.

What RPM are you going to be at when you're "driving carefully"?

Also you should either run more than 7lbs of boost or get your money back for your tune. You should should be making an easy 100hp more than you are with that procharger.

1. If it's 50 degrees out, I can spin the tires up to 80mph with no problem
2. If it's 50 degrees out, I can spin them on accident up to about 40-50
3. If it's 50 degrees out, I can make the car understeer bad. Like slide. a turn you could normally do, you can't. 50 isn't that cold.

We're talking 50 degrees temperature, and cold pavement. Not sun beating down on it all day. But cloudy, night time, etc.

30-40 degrees? Shit storm. Sorry but those are facts.

And this on 240-300TW Max Performance Summer tires. Continental ECS, Bridgestone Potzena, Yokohama whatever they are. I have all three in the garage. You're just better off on all-seasons if you intend on driving the car when it's below 50 degrees. You can still spin them (because you have a ton of power) but you're not going to have to worry about stopping/turning being any different.

And even in the summer, on those same tires, when it's 70/80/90F, you're going to be able to spin in a Whipple car below 60mph without trying that hard. 3rd/4th gear pull. A drag radial will preven that. I can hook at 40mph on the right surface.

whatever....Still takes off and stops better than half the cars on the road. Yes, the traction isn't the best, but sketchy? No. From my personal experience.

Ideally, drag radials. At the minimum you want something like Continental ExtremeContact Sports

When I put on my SuperSnake Whipple last year, I had BFG Comp 2s with 24,000 miles on them.
They were not good enough when I got into any boost. I bought Conti ECS2s and that was a huge upgrade. At the track I do have a set of Hoosier DOT tires on the rear.
