I know this is discussed all over the place, but I'm just looking for a peace of mind and some validation from some other mustangers.

While driving in tiptronics sports mode, is it possible to cause major damage? For example, I was doing a bit of spirited driving tonight and got onto an empty highway and seen the speedometer turn red once or twice throughout the hour (once going and once coming back). During both times I shifted right before the redline, but there's always like a short delay for it to actually shift. I also have a tune, which I believe adjusted the rev limiter a bit.

Should I be worried that it may have gone into the "danger zone" and may potentially result in issues? Is it even possible to go beyond the rev limiter in tiptronics?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

If you hit the limiter the RPMS will stay there. Also keep in mind that people with boss manifolds in 11-14 GT's regularly spin their coyotes to 7500 RPM. Your car is fine.

Yeah that delay is painful the first couple times until you know where its at....if you aren't ready for it will catch you off guard.
