Looks like the real thing. You did a good job with it.
Oh, I see your from Texas, so I can relate to the A/C issue. And a good stereo is a must.

I am a cobra guy as well. You really have to think of it as a 4 wheel Harley. I love driving mine even when it is hot. I can go for a 30 minute run and come back feeling completely de-stressed. The mustang just doesn't have the same raw/intense experience.

I got my ffr mk4 titled and ready to drive last week. Waiting on a couple brackets to get cut and I'll be test driving it around before taking apart for paint.

Sadly...it's more fun to look at...than drive...on any day above 90°...it's basically unusable...
Unfortunately, I've heard that many times in reference to those.

My brother is building a FFR with Coyote power and went all out on the suspension and brakes....hopefully he gets it done before we're too old to enjoy it.

The 4 wheel HD analogy is a great description!

No doubt...a 30 minute drive in a Cobra can be exhilarating...even if you come back smelling like exhaust from the side pipes!

I always enjoyed stopping at a gas station for a half tank of premium...everyone loves to talk Cobra!

:D

That's fantastic!

I'm told the FFR MK4 has tons of improvement's verse earlier models!

That first test drive is a wonderful experience!!

Please post a couple of photos!

It really does. I had a mark 2 in 2002. This one is much nicer. My only complaint is the drop butt yeilds not enough room for the plate. So had to modify the bracket and the plate to not cover the trunk latch (like backdraft does). But it sure does look nice. I stuck with a 302 FI set up I had sitting around with a t5. Made 310 whp in my 91 stang. I've go carted around a bit. But if all goes well, I'll drive it a little one day this week.

I'll post some more when I get the side pipes mounted and can get it out for some pictures.

And heres how OTT stripes should be. 7" at the nose, 7.5" at the cowl. I wont stripe my Mustang until somebody does a tapered set.

I've just about concluded my price negotiations with the Ford dealership I'm working with in Houston...they've been very accommodating thought the whole negotiation process...my Race Red 2015 Ecoboost Premium Coupe should be in the driveway by Saturday...

I'm a bit of a nutcase...I've not driven or even been inside a 2015 mustang yet...the last couple of vehicle I've purchased...I never bothered to test drive...just relied on the internet research to do my buying homework...I never visit the dealerships until I've finalized all my pricing via email & phone conversations...

The Dealership I'm working with in Houston has more than 120 Mustangs in stock...they've been a pleasure to work with!

This forum has been extremely helpful in making my buying decision!
