You all know how it is when driving at night when someone is behind you. The glare can be quite distracting and at times painful for the eyes. The rear view mirror doesn't suffer from this but the side mirrors do. I was wondering if anyone has tried anything to remedy this problem? I have the regular side mirrors with the blind spot section.

Does the rear view mirror have an anti-glare coating? When it starts to get dark I notice it darkens a little.

The rear view mirror is self-dimming to reduce the light intensity from lights behind you.

My only solution for the side mirrors is to move them just enough to get the light out of your eyes.

Ok thanks for the tips. I'll give that SAE recommend side mirrors position. I always left a bit of the car visible as a reference point. But if that removes the glare it will be worth getting used to it.
